Configure an OpenAI-compatible AI provider and chat with an assistant that can answer questions about your timeline data.

📄️ Ask the AI assistant

Sends a question to the AI assistant and returns its answer. The assistant uses the signed-in user's AI settings and can look up their timeline data, and data of friends who share it, to answer. The AI assistant must be enabled.

📄️ Save AI assistant settings

Saves the signed-in user's AI settings. Any OpenAI-compatible API works, including self-hosted servers such as Ollama; set `apiKeyRequired` to `false` for servers without authentication.

📄️ Get AI assistant settings

Returns the signed-in user's AI settings: whether the assistant is enabled, the OpenAI-compatible API URL, model, custom system message, and whether an API key is saved. The API key itself is not returned.
