Geofences

Geofence rules watch an area and record an event when you or a friend enters or leaves it. Events can be delivered as notifications through templates (Apprise or in-app).

📄️ List geofence events

Returns enter and leave events recorded by the signed-in user's rules, one page at a time, with filters.

📄️ Mark all geofence events as seen

Marks every unread geofence event as seen and returns how many were updated.

📄️ Count unread geofence events

Returns the number of geofence events not yet marked as seen.

Marks one geofence event as seen.

📄️ List geofence rules

Returns the geofence rules of the signed-in user.

📄️ Create a geofence rule

Creates a rule that watches a rectangular area for one or more people (yourself or friends who share their live location with you) and records an event when they enter, leave, or both. `cooldownSeconds` suppresses repeated events, and templates choose how each event is delivered.

📄️ Update a geofence rule

Changes some fields of a geofence rule; fields that are not sent stay unchanged.

📄️ Delete a geofence rule

Deletes a geofence rule.

📄️ List notification templates

Returns the notification templates of the signed-in user. A template defines the title and body of a geofence notification and where it is sent: in-app, through Apprise, or both.

📄️ Create a notification template

Creates a notification template. The title and body can contain placeholders filled in from the event, such as `{{subjectName}}`, `{{eventVerb}}`, `{{geofenceName}}`, `{{timestamp}}`, `{{lat}}`, and `{{lon}}`. A template can be the default for enter or leave events.

📄️ Update a notification template

Changes some fields of a notification template; fields that are not sent stay unchanged.

📄️ Delete a notification template

Deletes a notification template.
