GPS Tracker Ingest
Endpoints that GPS tracking apps send location updates to: OwnTracks, Overland, Traccar, GPSLogger, Colota, Home Assistant, and Dawarich-compatible clients. They do not use GeoPulse sessions or API tokens; each request authenticates with the credentials of a GPS source configured under GPS Sources (HTTP Basic or a bearer token, depending on the app). Responses use the format each app expects.
📄️ Ingest Colota location
Receives a location update from the Colota app and stores it as a GPS point for the user who owns the Colota GPS source.
📄️ Ingest Dawarich points
Receives a batch of points in the Dawarich `/api/v1/points` format and stores them as GPS points for the user who owns the Dawarich GPS source. Lets apps that support Dawarich send data to GeoPulse.
📄️ Ingest GPSLogger location
Receives a location update from GPSLogger for Android, sent in the OwnTracks JSON format, and stores it as a GPS point for the user who owns the GPSLogger GPS source. Messages whose `_type` is not `location` are ignored.
📄️ Ingest Home Assistant location
Receives a location update sent by a Home Assistant automation (REST command) and stores it as a GPS point for the user who owns the Home Assistant GPS source.
📄️ Ingest Overland locations
Receives a batch of locations from the Overland app and stores them as GPS points for the user who owns the Overland GPS source. Overland removes the batch from the device once it receives `{'result': 'ok'}`.
📄️ Ingest OwnTracks location
Receives an OwnTracks HTTP-mode message and stores location updates as GPS points for the user who owns the OwnTracks GPS source. Encrypted payloads are decrypted with the source's encryption key. Messages other than `location`, and payloads that cannot be decrypted, are accepted and ignored. OwnTracks points of interest and tags in the message are stored too.
📄️ Ingest Traccar position
Receives a position forwarded by a Traccar server and stores it as a GPS point. Several Traccar GPS sources can share one token: the position is stored for every active source whose device ID matches the position's device or, when none matches, for every source without a device ID.
