Timeline Corrections
Manual fixes for the generated timeline: set the movement type of a trip, split a trip where a stop was missed, or turn a data gap into a stay. Corrections are stored as overrides and survive timeline regeneration; each can be undone.
📄️ Undo a data gap conversion
Removes a data-gap-to-stay override so the period is shown as a data gap again.
📄️ Convert a data gap to a stay
Replaces a data gap with a stay, for example when the phone stopped sending data while you stayed in one place. The conversion is saved as an override and kept when the timeline is regenerated.
📄️ Undo a trip split
Removes a manual split that turned part of a trip into a stay, and regenerates the affected timeline.
📄️ Explain a movement type
Explains how the movement type of a timeline trip was detected: the speed and distance figures used and the thresholds of each movement type.
📄️ Set a movement type
Overrides the detected movement type of a timeline trip: `WALK`, `BICYCLE`, `RUNNING`, `CAR`, `MOTORCYCLE`, `PUBLIC_TRANSPORT`, `TRAIN`, `FLIGHT`, `BOAT`, or `UNKNOWN`. The override is kept when the timeline is regenerated.
📄️ Reset a movement type
Removes a manual movement type so the detected type is used again.
📄️ Split a trip with a stay
Turns part of a timeline trip into a stay, splitting it into trip, stay, trip. The split is saved as an override and kept when the timeline is regenerated; undo it with `DELETE /api/v1/timeline/stay-split-overrides/{overrideId}`.
