Import

Import location history from GPX, GeoJSON, CSV, OwnTracks, and Google Timeline files, or from a GeoPulse export. Imports run as background jobs: upload a file, then poll the import job until it finishes.

📄️ Import a file

Uploads a file and starts an import job. Supported formats: `owntracks` (.json), `gpx` (.gpx, or .zip with several GPX files), `google-timeline` (.json), `geojson` (.json, .geojson), `csv` (.csv), and `geopulse` (.zip created by a GeoPulse export). The optional `options` part (JSON) can limit the import to a time range and replace existing data in that range. Only one import can run at a time. The import runs in the background; poll `GET /api/v1/imports/{importJobId}` for progress. A reverse proxy in front of GeoPulse may limit the upload size.

📄️ List import jobs

Returns the import jobs of the signed-in user, newest first, one page at a time. Jobs are kept in memory and the list is cleared when the server restarts.

📄️ Get an import job

Returns the status, progress, and result of an import job.

📄️ Delete an import job

Removes an import job from the job list. Data that was already imported is kept.
