GPS Points
Read, correct, export, and delete the raw GPS points that every other feature is built from. Points arrive from GPS tracker apps, the GeoPulse mobile app, or file imports. Editing or deleting points updates the affected part of the timeline automatically.
📄️ Upload points from the mobile app
Stores a batch of GPS points sent by the GeoPulse mobile app for the signed-in user. The server-wide default filters for inaccurate points and duplicates apply. Third-party tracker apps should use the **GPS Tracker Ingest** endpoints instead.
📄️ List GPS points
Returns GPS points one page at a time, with optional filters and sorting.
📄️ Delete all GPS data
Permanently deletes all GPS points of the signed-in user together with the generated timeline (stays, trips, and data gaps). This cannot be undone.
📄️ Delete several GPS points
Deletes the GPS points with the given IDs. Like single deletion, schedules timeline regeneration from the earliest deleted point and a coverage rebuild in the background.
📄️ Export GPS points as CSV
Streams the GPS points that match the filters as a CSV file download. Pass `ids` to export only specific points.
📄️ Get the last known position
Returns the most recent GPS point of the signed-in user, or an empty body when there are no points.
📄️ Get the GPS path
Returns the GPS points of a time range as a path for drawing on a map, split into segments wherever there is a gap longer than the data-gap threshold from the timeline preferences. By default the path is simplified when path simplification is enabled in the timeline preferences.
📄️ Get GPS data freshness
Returns when the most recent GPS point was recorded and received, how old it is, its source and device, and the total number of points. Useful for checking that a tracker is still sending data.
📄️ Get GPS point counts
Returns the total number of GPS points, points recorded today (in the user's timezone), and the first and last point times. When filters are given, also returns the number of points that match them.
📄️ Update a GPS point
Corrects the coordinates or other fields of a GPS point. The affected part of the timeline is regenerated.
📄️ Delete a GPS point
Deletes a GPS point. Timeline regeneration from the point's time, and a coverage rebuild when coverage is enabled, are scheduled in the background; the response says what was scheduled.
📄️ Resolve the place of a GPS point
Returns the place name for a GPS point: the favorite it falls into or its reverse-geocoded address, with the ID of the matching favorite or geocoding result.
