System Settings
View and change server-wide settings, such as sign-in and registration, geocoding, weather, map matching, AI, import, and export. A setting that has not been changed here uses the value from the environment configuration.
📄️ List all settings
Returns all server-wide settings grouped by category. Each setting has its current value, type, description, default value, and whether it still uses the default from the environment configuration.
📄️ Update several settings
Saves several settings in one transaction. Geocoding and weather changes are validated together (for example, enabling a provider together with its API key); if any value is invalid, nothing is saved.
📄️ List settings in a category
Returns the server-wide settings of one category.
📄️ Update a setting
Saves a new value for one setting in the database, overriding the environment default. The value is validated against the setting type, and the change is recorded in the audit log (secrets are redacted). Use the bulk endpoint for geocoding and weather settings, which depend on each other.
📄️ Reset a setting
Deletes the saved value of a setting so the default from the environment configuration applies again, and returns that default.
📄️ Re-run map matching
Re-runs map matching over the stored history of all users. By default only trips that never got a usable match are queued again; with `mode=ALL` every stored result is deleted and the whole history is matched again. Requires map matching, historical backfill, and Valhalla to be configured.
